  • MAY 11-14  -  weekend course    -   EASY SUMMER   -   fabulous food for lazy summer days, including a water-side picnic, restaurant meals, wine tastings and visits to artisan food producers, as well as a visit to the Medieval Citadel of Carcassonne...

  • May 25-28  - (WHIT) weekend course   -   FISH - a fabulous new course with an amazing array of simple, beautiful, fullproof recipes that will become part of your life. You'll wonder how you ever lived without them. If you were ever afraid of cooking with fish, then this course will remove all fear forever! Visits to saltpans, oysterbeds and an olive press, as well as a wine-producer included.

  • June 15-22 - FULL week course      -   SUMMER DAYS    -   the ultimate summer course with the best of summer produce: think wild rocket and asparagus, fresh salads with baby vegetables and new-season goats cheeses, tiny lambchops, juicy cherries and fragrant peaches, berries and fruity summer wine... all combined with excursions to markets and artisan food producers, a boat trip on the Canal du Midi, vineyard visits and a tutored wine tasting (as well as a few cultural visits to such places as the Cathar stronghold of Minerve and the Medieval Citadel of Carcassonne...)

  • September 7-10 - weekend course  -  SIMPLY FRENCH   -   a true taste of France with classic French dishes made easy, excursions to typical French food markets and artisans, a water-side picnic and French wines, a visit to a French vide-grenier (a sort of car-boot sale but much better) and of course a visit to the Medieval Citadel of Carcassonne...

  • SEPTEMBER 14-21 - FULL week course - ENTERTAINING and WINE   -  the ultimate entertaining course - relaxed food smart enough for guests... and an equal emphasis on wine. We shall visit vineyards to witness (and assist in) the grape-harvest (and grape-pickers breakfast), we shall learn how wine is made in wineries and learn to taste and choose wine during a wine-appreciation course... There is also a cultural element to this course.

  • SEPT 28 - OCT 1 -   weekend course   - CUPBOARD LOVE - always having something 'up one's sleeve' means being ready for the unexpected - super standby dishes from the cupboard and freezer...

Private and specially tailored courses for small groups can also be organised (great idea for hen parties). Please email to the address below.

  • Remember that on these courses we will be serendipitous of mind - as the French have been for centuries. We will forage the markets for the best seasonal produce and turn it into fabulous modern food that is quick and eclectic to appeal to those with busy lifestyles yet pretty and delicious enough to be served at smarter occasions.
